“Erika quiere ayudar a su más querida amiga Lola. Pero “El sanatorio de muñecos”, el hospital donde podrían haber obrado el milagro, ha cerrado aparentemente para no volver a abrir.
Lanzándose a lo desconocido con inesperados aliados, Erika se enfrenta a su familia y a todos los adultos —adultos sin nombre—, en un intento de reparar su muñeca Lola; ellos pretenden reemplazarla comprando otra, sin comprender los momentos importantes que han compartido y el amor excepcional que se profesan la una a la otra.
En una carrera plagada de obstáculos y bajo la perpetua amenaza de que los Adultos arruinen su proyecto, Erika hará lo posible y lo imposible por curar a su amiga”.
